A player takes inspiration from Alex Galchenyuk and gets shown the door by the Arizona Coyotes
It was last summer that former Montreal Canadiens forward Alex Galchenyuk was arrested for driving under the influence just days after signing a contract with the Arizona Coyotes.
Chucky then turned to the NHL's Player Assistance Program before ultimately continuing his career in the KHL.
The Coyotes seemingly did not learn their lesson about thoroughly evaluating a player before acquiring him. They claimed forward Adam Ruzicka off waivers on January 25th from Calgary.
However, much like Galchenyuk, Ruzicka indulged in excesses and posted a video online. It's too shocking for us to share, but it's enough to put an end to his career in North America.
After just three games with his new team, he has now been placed on waivers to terminate his contract.
It's worth noting that many people wanted Kent Hughes to claim him on January 25th. It seems that the Canadiens' general manager did his homework well.
