Corey Perry's file: a new chapter officially begins in Chicago
Corey Perry was a significant offensive asset and a leader for the Chicago Blackhawks. Unfortunately, things took a wrong turn, and he is no longer with the team.
Replacing the player will be challenging, as will replacing the leader. Perry served as an alternate captain for a team without a captain, and based on comments from other players, he was the one to follow.
The Blackhawks have officially turned the page, announcing that Jason Dickinson is Perry's successor.
At 28 years old, the former 29th overall pick in 2013 is having a solid season, particularly with his 14 points and a +3 rating, which is impressive considering the team is in a rebuilding phase.
