A total turnaround for former Canadiens player Jonathan Drouin
The start of the season for Jonathan Drouin in Colorado did not go as hoped. The former Canadiens forward had every opportunity on the first line alongside Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen, but he wasn't producing.
He was demoted to the second, third, fourth lines, and even sent to the press box. Nothing was going well for Jo, and it was genuinely sad for him.
A turnaround has occurred, and Jonathan has been unrecognizable for the past month. He's been producing consistently, even tallying 10 points in the last 10 games.
If he manages to maintain this pace, he will undoubtedly become one of the biggest steals in the entire NHL this year. His hard work off the ice, along with his friend Nathan, is paying off.
It has been said many times in Montreal: Drouin needs good players around him to be at his best. He's not a savior but a good complement, and he's proving it right now.
We genuinely wish him continued success. It's truly great to see him thriving.
