Complete turnaround for former Montreal Canadiens player Jonathan Drouin
Jonathan Drouin's start in Colorado was rather timid, bordering on quite poor. Let's call it as it is. After 11 games and incredible opportunities on the first line and power play, Drouin had only one point, collected during the first period of the first game.
Things were going so poorly for him that he was demoted to lower lines, played fewer minutes, and even healthy scratched.
Since then, he has gathered 7 points, including 3 goals, and has returned to the top line, also playing on the first power play unit. He recently set a personal record in the game against the Winnipeg Jets, spending 25 minutes and 22 seconds on the ice.
It's incredible how things have turned around for him, considering he was playing less than 12 minutes per game just a few weeks ago. We truly hope he continues on this path and enjoys a lot of success alongside his good friend Nathan MacKinnon.
