Official: It is now confirmed for Marc-André Fleury
For nearly 20 years, Marc-André Fleury has been making his mark in the NHL. The goaltender has won three Stanley Cups and a Vezina Trophy, yet he has always been underrated.
However, he is undoubtedly one of the best goalies of his generation, and on Monday night, he confirmed that he is one of the greatest of all time.
With his 552nd win, achieved with a shutout against the Islanders, Fleury officially surpassed Patrick Roy for the 2nd most regular-season victories of all time.
The reactions from his teammates speak volumes. Fleury is an extremely respected figure throughout the NHL, and he will undoubtedly be a great ambassador for the sport after his retirement.
