A Senators player deliberately tries to injure Kaiden Guhle with a horrible check and David Savard comes to the defense of his teammate
It was predictable; the tough guys of the Senators are desperately trying to injure the players of the Tricolore during this first period.
The disliked Zach MacEwen notably delivered a completely disgusting check to defenseman Kaiden Guhle while he was back to the play. His teammate, David Savard, immediately came to his defense by dropping the gloves.
One thing is certain, the absence of Arber Xhekaj is clearly felt!
«We've already seen two dubious hits on Suzuki and Guhle and a David Savard who has to drop the gloves.» - Anthony Martineau
It's astounding to witness such actions during a preseason match. Fortunately, the young defenseman of the Tricolore seemed to be well, continuing in the game afterward.
We strongly hope that no player from the CH will suffer an injury a few weeks before the start of the regular season.
