Due to the huge number of injuries that the Canadiens had to deal with, there were several great stories this season, as unexpected players managed to earn their place on the main team.
One of these great stories is undoubtedly that of Rafael Harvey-Pinard. He really seized his chance when he was called up to the Tricolore. Unless there is a surprise, he seems to have definitively won a spot for next season.
In connection with the Quebec forward, the Canadiens released a very nice video involving a former warrior of the organization, Steve Bégin.
He commented on some sequences of RHP, adding some personal details, including the fact that he hated playing against him in junior when he was acting as a coach.
"I loved him, but I hated playing against him, for all those reasons. He did everything to win and he is a hardworking guy". - Steve Bégin
Having been a player greatly appreciated by Montreal fans himself, Bégin said this:
"I love that player, since he arrived he has demonstrated so many great things, great abilities. He reminds me a little of myself when I arrived, I wanted to look good, I wanted people to notice me, no matter what I did, and that's exactly what he does in every game." - Steve Bégin
Clearly, Harvey-Pinard's hard work did not go unnoticed, and he proves that when you give 110 %, you can succeed in achieving your dreams!
Here is the very enjoyable video to watch from the Habs:
