A major development has occurred for Logan Mailloux and the continuation of his career
The story of Montreal Canadiens' hopeful, Logan Mailloux, no longer needs introduction, as the young man committed a reprehensible act that cost him a suspension and a controversial draft pick.
Since then, much water has flowed under the bridge and he has worked hard to become a better person, thanks to numerous therapy sessions. He has learned from his mistakes and the Tricolore is proud of the progress he has made.
It was known that the 31st pick of the 2021 prospect would not be able to join the NHL without going through a league acceptance process.
However, journalist Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports just informed us that Mailloux will finally meet with Gary Bettman and the National League executives, as soon as the final playoff series concludes.
The 20-year-old defenseman must obtain the commissioner's approval to play in the league, and everything indicates that he will put that into motion to be able to do so sooner rather than later.
In other words, it is now assured that Mailloux will graduate to professional hockey for the next season. This is therefore a big step for the continuation of his career.
