Incarcerated Bob then reiterated that Kent Hughes was significantly inquiring about three prospects for the draft, one of whom had not been linked to the Tricolore in recent weeks.
Indeed, this is about the 18-year-old forward from the Winnipeg Ice, Zach Benson. The 5-foot-9 left-winger has had a meteoric rise this season, scoring 36 goals and 62 assists (98 points) in 60 games, thus finishing the year ranked third in points in the WHL. Many scouts indeed compare his playing style to that of Johnny Gaudreau.
The forward is certainly one of the best passers of the 2023 batch, who has simply extraordinary game vision.
