Action coming soon for Cayden Primeau? The Canadiens might have a plan for him
Leaving a young player in the stands is far from ideal for his development. Whether the Canadiens' plan is to keep Primeau or trade him, action will need to be taken, and quickly.
It so happens that there's a possibility for him to play games, without being traded. Similar to Shane Wright last year, the Canadiens could send him to the American Hockey League for conditioning purposes.
We really hope for him that he'll get to see some action soon because it's far from easy to stay in the stands, especially given his strong performance in camp and the fact that he deserves a chance.
