Alex Barré-Boulet finally knows his verdict and his next team
We have just learned the verdict regarding the fate of Alex Barré-Boulet, who was placed on waivers yesterday by the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Quebecois forward was not claimed, which means he will join the Syracuse Crunch in the AHL and his former junior coach, Joël Bouchard.
It's still a surprising verdict, considering that the 26-year-old player was on fire last year in the Lightning's farm team. He racked up 24 goals and 84 points in 69 games. A call-up to the main team might happen later in the season.
