An important player from the Coyotes publicly criticized his organization
To say that the Arizona Coyotes are a struggling organization would be an understatement. This franchise has been the subject of laughter in the NHL since its arrival, and the new arena where the team plays this year is a ridiculous situation.
The Coyotes play in a 5,000-seat college arena with facilities that are far from NHL standards.
Furthermore, an important player on the team has recently publicly criticized the organization. In a recent interview, goaltender Karel Vejmelka showed legendary candor in commenting on this totally absurd situation.
"I don't think a single game was sold out this year. It was mostly away fans too. The prices are stupid, $160 for the cheapest seat in a tiny university arena."
Ouch! The Coyotes' starting goaltender is definitely not holding back his opinions.
Just imagine if a Montreal Canadiens player would publicly embarrass his team in such a manner. He would likely face repercussions from the team management.
Vejmelka still has two more seasons left on his current contract, earning him $2.725 million annually.
