A recent ranking shared on social media about the top talents under 23 in the NHL has caught many off guard, particularly concerning the young players of the Montreal Canadiens.

The organization is prominently featured with four of its players among the 32 ranked, including Juraj Slafkovsky, Cole Caufield, Kaiden Guhle, and Kirby Dach.

Additionally, this ranking will rekindle hope among the Tricolore supporters, especially regarding Slafkovsky, who is listed in tier 2, described as an "elite talent". He's notably in excellent company with intriguing names such as Tim Stutzle, Matty Beniers, Dylan Cozens, and Moritz Seider.

The Canadiens' first overall pick in 2022 ranks even higher than Caufield, who is in the third tier, categorizing "all-star" players. He is alongside Trevor Zegras, Kent Johnson, Jake Sanderson, Matt Boldy, Mason McTavish, and Lucas Raymond.

Furthermore, Guhle is found in the 5th tier, which represents "top lineup players", while Dach is in the final tier, denoting players "borderline at the top of the lineup".

When taking into account that several promising prospects of the team aren't represented in this ranking yet, having not made their NHL debut, like Lane Hutson, David Reinbacher, Logan Mailloux, and others, it's evident that the Canadiens are genuinely on a promising path to build a strong team.
