After Frédéric Allard, who set his sights on Sweden, it's now Otto Leskinen's turn to definitively leave the Tricolore organization.
The 26-year-old defenseman has signed a two-year agreement with Tappara in the Finnish Elite League.
Leskinen will thus return to his roots by playing in his home country. He notably played 10 games with Tappara in 2021-2022, during which he collected four goals and four assists.
The Finn was unable to secure a regular position in the NHL during his stay in North America.
Leskinen only played six games with the Canadiens during his three years in the organization, mainly playing for the Laval Rocket.
We wish him the best of luck in this new adventure!
