Another forward would be injured long-term within the Canadiens' organization
The years are passing, and unfortunately, they seem to be alike for the Montreal Canadiens. During the 2022-23 season, not only did the Habs have a significant number of injuries, but the Laval Rocket did as well.
As the 2023-24 season has just begun, the organization has already confirmed that Kirby Dach will be out for the rest of the season. Furthermore, Kaiden Guhle had to leave the game yesterday, and we still don't know when he will return.
The woes don't end there. Emil Heineman, who is knocking on the door of the NHL, will be absent for an extended period of time with no specific timeline, and David Reinbacher will miss up to three weeks of action.
We already knew all of this, and now it's Gabriel Bourque's turn, the captain of the Rocket. According to TVA Sports, there's a good chance he'll also have to stay sidelined for an extended period.
It's truly unfortunate for the organization, and one can only hope that the streak of bad luck will come to an end soon.
