Another major injury for the Canadiens: Alex Newhook leaves the game on one leg
In the first period of the game between the Canadiens and the Panthers, Alex Newhook fell victim to a trip, but he managed to stay in the game.
He even was one of the best players on the ice until early in the third period, but then he experienced a stroke of bad luck.
As he charged toward the net, he fell near Sergei Bobrovsky's goal, and his skate got stuck in the net. His ankle absorbed the full impact, making him unable to put any weight on it.
A very concerning scene for the Canadiens' forward, who did not return to the game and might have to be sidelined for an extended period.
