BREAKING: Another Canadiens Player Departs, Reuniting with Former Teammate
After announcing the signing of forward Jonathan Drouin, Colorado Avalanche General Manager Chris MacFarland once again dipped into the Canadiens' pool by offering a one-year contract to Corey Schueneman.
The 27-year-old defenseman will earn a salary of $775,000 next season, as he signed a two-way deal.
During his three seasons in the Canadiens organization, Schueneman played 31 games with the main team, recording two goals and five assists.
The defenseman played a key role in the success of the Laval Rocket last year, tallying 6 goals and 17 assists (23 points) in 62 games, all while maintaining an impressive +13 plus/minus rating.
We wish him the best of luck with his new team!
