It's always pleasant to know what's going on in the life of former Canadiens players, and today, we have news from the enigmatic Andrei Kostitsyn.
After ending his professional career last year, big news has just come up for him, as he is officially back in the KHL, having secured a position in the management of Dinamo Minsk.
Here's the announcement on the subject:
"Former NHL player and star of the Belarusian national team, Andrei Kostitsyn, is back with Dinamo Minsk in a management position!
The 38-year-old player played for the KHL club from 2018 to 2020 and scored 62 points in 100 matches.
Kostitsyn was the 10th overall pick in the 2003 NHL draft and accumulated 222 points in 398 matches. He also collected 247 points in 409 career matches in the KHL and won a Belarusian title in 2004 and a Calder Cup in the AHL in 2007.

It must be said that this is quite a surprising piece of news, as I believe I can confidently say that few people would have guessed that he would secure a high-ranking position in an organization as a manager after his retirement as a player.
However, it is indeed excellent news for this 10th overall pick of the Canadiens in the 2003 draft.
