Breaking: Tomas Tatar signs with a new team and it could make sparks fly
While many experts believed that Tomas Tatar would sign a contract with the New York Islanders, the Colorado Avalanche has just announced that the 32-year-old left winger has agreed to a one-season deal with the 2022 Stanley Cup champions.
He will reunite with a certain Jonathan Drouin, and the two former Montreal Canadiens will cost (together) less than 2.5 million this season.
We are indeed talking about a one-season contract worth 1.5 million dollars for Tatar. A very good deal for the Avalanche.
Tatar, 32 years old, amassed 48 points in 82 games last season with the New Jersey Devils. (20 goals and a +41 differential)
Details to follow.
