We are getting to know Brendan Gallagher's fiancée more and more. Quebec native Emma Fortin is not only beautiful but also involved with the Carrefour Foundation, which assists victims of domestic violence.
"Women in need, going through situations like that, it's unfair, and they need support. I find it incredible that organizations like this exist; everyone should be more interested in it."
We already knew that, though it doesn't take away from the beauty of the gesture. What we didn't know is that she is a Ph.D. candidate in management at HEC. This means she is currently a Master's degree holder.
It's fabulous to get to know her. Too often, we assume that a beautiful young woman like her would enchant a millionaire hockey player for his money, but not in this case. Gally seems to have found a true gem with a sharp mind.
The life of a hockey player is demanding during the season, and Emma doesn't hide that fact.
"They are athletes with a routine, having morning workouts and often evening games. They are always on the road, so it's important to have our own activities too."
