Carey Price just made a huge statement regarding a potential upcoming trade at the Canadiens
In the last few hours, Carey Price was available for a press conference in connection with a new partnership.
While there was a significant number of journalists on site, the number 31 of the CH answered several juicy questions about his future in hockey. He notably admitted that he was no longer able to play in the NHL.
Although this was somewhat a formality in the eyes of the fans, the star goalie also addressed the point concerning a potential upcoming transaction involving his contract.
"Everyone knows that hockey is a business - managing money and cap space are part of it; no matter what happens, I will be a Montreal Canadien for the rest of my life and I am very proud of that, so I am ready to help this team in all aspects."
- Carey Price
In the context where Kent Hughes has openly stated that he might seriously consider moving Price's hefty contract before the end of his agreement, the veteran goalie revealed that he would be willing to do anything to help his team, even if it meant a trade.
"I am really open to helping the team, even if it means trading me."
- Carey Price
Although it is possible that this situation may never occur, it is still interesting to hear that Price wants to help his team, even if it would involve a transaction.
