Since arriving with the Montreal Canadiens, Cole Caufield quickly showed that he had a natural talent for finding the back of the net. There is no doubt that the 22-year-old forward has a devastating shot and consistently positions himself in dangerous places to get excellent scoring opportunities, as shown by his 53 goals in 123 games in the Bettman circuit.
Had it not been for his shoulder injury last year, Caufield would certainly have reached the 40-goal plateau, as he led all the Tricolore forwards with a harvest of 26 goals in 46 meetings.
