Disturbing scene involving Brendan Gallagher and Johnathan Kovacevic at Montreal Canadiens practice
The Habs are currently in Anaheim, where they will play their next game against the Ducks on Wednesday evening. The game is scheduled for 10:00 p.m. Eastern time.
This means that training took place later than usual, so that the players can get used to the time change. In the last few minutes, a disturbing video of a collision between Brendan Gallagher and Johnathan Kovacevic surfaced.
The two players did not see each other and collided quite violently. This happened earlier this season between the same two players, during the warm-up period. Gally wasn't wearing a helmet and came very close to hitting his head on the ice.
Getting back to today, both players got up and looked okay, except for Gallagher, who grimaced a little. Will Martin St-Louis be forced to play with seven defensemen and 11 forwards tomorrow night?
We'll soon find out.
