Extraordinary: Nick Suzuki showcases his leadership once again
Without being extraordinary, Nick Suzuki is highly effective all over the ice. The captain can play in all situations and excels in every aspect.
To be the captain of the Montreal Canadiens, one needs something special, and Nick possesses that little something. It might seem trivial, but number 14 was at the team's morning practice today.
What makes it extraordinary? Given the weekend he had since Thursday night, he would have had every reason to take a day off. But the team comes first.
Very few players showed up for their respective practices. Nick is truly in a class of his own, despite the team not making the playoffs again this year. Imagine when the team becomes competitive!
He has to lead by example, and that's exactly what he's doing. He doesn't take a break from this responsibility, even during the summer.
