Finally, excellent news on the way for the Montreal Canadiens
It's a bit less dire than last year, but it's still evident this season: the Canadiens haven't been spared from injuries.
It hit particularly hard on the offensive side, with Dach, Newhook, Dvorak, basically three center players. The Canadiens even had to play with only three centers in the lineup.
However, some good news is about to be announced as Alex Newhook is practicing with full gear. He was in Brossard with Adam Nicholas this morning, and his exercises were more intense.
"Alex Newhook is practicing with full gear this morning. Increased intensity compared to yesterday. Testing his ankle even more. Balance exercises and sharp turns." - Anthony Martineau, TVA Sports
This is good news, especially because he's supposed to return in March. If he can come back earlier, Martin St-Louis certainly won't say no.
