It is with great sadness that we have learned that Kirby Dach's 2023-24 season has only lasted for two short games. This is news that is painful for both the team and the player, but the outlook for a full recovery is very positive.

The Canadiens will now need reinforcements because, to be honest, it won't be easy to replace number 77, as we saw on Tuesday night against the Wild.

The good news is that Christian Dvorak was practicing with his teammates in a regular jersey this morning. This suggests that his return is imminent.

"Christian Dvorak, who hasn't played any games so far this season, was wearing a regular practice jersey, indicating that he may be ready for contact again. The forward underwent knee surgery in March last year."

This means that a bit of reinforcement at center could put everyone in a more comfortable position. According to several sources, the only active player who could potentially complement Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield is Sean Monahan. By placing Dvorak on the third-line center, this could be feasible.
