Former Habs forward loses his temper over the management of the Montreal Canadiens' roster
The goaltending trio for the Canadiens must stop as soon as possible, we all know that. Even Kent Hughes said at the beginning of the season that it couldn't last.
Yet, as of December 28, it was still ongoing, and apart from trade rumors about Jake Allen, nothing really changes in this matter. The three goalies take turns playing.
After the game, during the show L'Antichambre, Benoit Brunet completely lost it regarding the Canadiens' management.
"Why go back with Primeau? It's been 6 days since we played! I'm fed up, I'm fed up, I'm fed up! But why isn't Montembeault here tonight? (talking about the previous night) Why isn't Jake Allen here? Allen was eating hot dogs upstairs."
- Benoit Brunet
The former Canadiens player is not the only one to think this way and wonder why Primeau was in goal on Thursday night. Samuel Montembeault is clearly the team's number one goalie and should not lose his spot after six days off.
