Goodbye Jake Allen? The goalie may have said too much in an interview
The Canadiens will face the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday night. With two consecutive starts, the chances of seeing Montembeault in the net again were practically nil, especially since the Habs lost 4-0 on Thursday night.
One might think that Jake Allen would be in the net, but no. It will be Cayden Primeau.
Allen himself confirmed it to the journalists, and as my colleague William Nadeau from the site Habsetlnh.com mentions, he didn't seem very happy and quickly changed the subject.
Has the Canadiens made their choice, and is Allen about to be traded? Is the goalie aware of something but can't say anything?
We will find out in the coming days, but one thing is for sure, it's very interesting.
