Huge development regarding Patrick Roy and an NHL position
With the issues and changes happening in Ottawa, Patrick Roy's name is circulating more and more. We know he's ready to make a return to the NHL, and we know that the Senators are looking for a general manager and possibly soon a head coach.
During an appearance on the 5 to 7 show, Norman Flynn stated that from a reliable source, Roy was seen at a restaurant in Kanata, the city where the Sens' arena is located.
Kanata is not a very popular or touristy city. With the current situation, let's just say the timing is quite questionable.
So, the rumors are once again swirling, and if Norman's sources are accurate, I can't see why Roy would be in Kanata if it wasn't related to the Senators.
A situation to be closely monitored...
