Important decision, and Josh Anderson sidelined soon? Martin St-Louis comments on the situation
It's a topic that is gaining more and more attention as Josh Anderson simply isn't delivering this season. One could say he's in a very deep slump, and it's easy to criticize him, but at least he's putting in the effort.
Many fans have called for him to be benched for a game, just to shake things up. However, St-Louis doesn't share that opinion:
"No, it's not the time to bench Josh Anderson. If he had given up on himself, maybe I would. But that's really not the case."
- Martin St-Louis
Indeed, one can't fault Josh for working hard, but at some point, he needs to find a way to produce.
A video of Josh at practice shows that he's practicing his shots a lot and really wants to break out of his slump. Hopefully, things will turn around for him soon; otherwise, the pressure will only increase on his and the coach's shoulders.
