In the last few hours, Carey Price's partner, Angela, has announced sad news to Montreal Canadiens fans. Indeed, the Price family will officially leave Montreal by the end of June to settle in Kelowna, British Columbia.
After the Canadiens' goaltender put his house up for sale last month, we all knew that his stay in Montreal was coming to an end. However, we now have confirmation that he only has a few days left before his move.
Knowing full well that #31 will not return to the game, we fully understand their decision, as they will have the chance to be closer to their family.
However, Angela Price mentioned that they would return to Quebec on many occasions in the future, having a strong friendship with their neighbors.
"Many things will be missed, but we will come back often enough so it's not too serious. We will definitely miss our neighborhood. It's as if we lived in a movie where you love your neighbors (we even went on weekend getaways with them regularly) and we have a large cul-de-sac in front where all the kids play together almost every day, we even made our own little neighborhood ice rink in winter. I couldn't imagine a better neighborhood to raise our children." - Angela Price
Carey Price's partner added that their children will continue to learn French, even though they are moving to an English-speaking city.
Thank you for everything, Carey!
