Jesperi Kotkaniemi is making the Montreal Canadiens regret their decision
In Montreal, there's still regret over the selection of Jesperi Kotkaniemi. To think that Brady Tkachuk was still available and they let him go for a player who did very little for the Canadiens.
In short, it's unfortunate, but we consoled ourselves by looking at KK's very modest performances. We thought the Hurricanes were stuck with him for many years, but watch out.
In the last 30 games, he has scored 27 points for number 82, including nine points in eight games this season.
Kotkaniemi has always been a streaky player, we know that. However, if this trend continues, he could have an outstanding season and become a steal.
Furthermore, he would prove to everyone that you need to be patient with young players, especially with a certain Juraj Slafkovsky.
