Injuries within the Montreal Canadiens organization: finally some good news, and it's about Lane Hutson
In the case of the Canadiens, injuries have been numerous over the past two years. It's worth emphasizing that nobody likes to see a player injured, but the impact is significantly greater when it involves an important player, which is the case here.
If the situation is catastrophic for the Canadiens with injuries to Kirby Dach, David Savard, and Kaiden Guhle, it's equally challenging for Laval and even in the NCAA.
Lane Hutson, considered by many as the team's top defensive prospect, appeared to have suffered a serious injury last week. However, the good news is that his absence was shorter than expected, and he will officially return today.
This is excellent news for his development, which could have been put on hold for a much longer period.
