Johnathan Kovacevic breaks free and provides major updates on Kaiden Guhle
Injuries are already plaguing the Canadiens after just three games. Two very important players have fallen, Kirby Dach, who will miss the entire season, and Kaiden Guhle, whose absence duration is uncertain.
There have been various reports about Guhle's injury. It began with rumors of a long-term injury, and then this morning, it was said to be the opposite, that he would miss only a few games.
His defensive partner, Johnathan Kovacevic, is well placed to know if he will return soon, and he spilled the beans when questioned.
"It's tough! It's tough for me because I was playing with him, and we're good friends. It's something you never want to see. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope he'll be back in a few weeks." - Johnathan Kovacevic
Pardon? A few weeks? That would mean the injury is more severe than what several people, including Renaud Lavoie, mentioned this morning.
Let's hope Kovacevic is mistaken, but for now, his statement is the best source we have, apparently.
