Josh Anderson traded to the New Jersey Devils? Eric Engels comments on this possibility
Not too long ago, Josh Anderson was seen as untouchable in the Canadiens. With the team's new prospects and players who are on average smaller and faster, his utility has diminished, especially since he's not finding the back of the net.
However, a player like number 17 still has value for many teams, such as the New Jersey Devils, who would greatly benefit from the physical dimension that Anderson brings.
Here's what Eric Engels had to say on the subject:
"Don't think they'll trade either.
But I think the Devils could use two players like Anderson to really solidify their contender status."
When Engels talks about two players, he means that Brendan Gallagher would also be a good fit with the Devils. However, I don't believe any team is ready to give Gallagher $6.5 million, even though he has all the heart in the world.
