Journalists from Pittsburgh had a lot to say about the Canadiens' fans at the Bell Centre
The Canadiens faced the Pittsburgh Penguins at the Bell Centre on Wednesday night. This means that Kris Letang and Sidney Crosby were in Montreal, which is always special for them.
It's a moment that is also special for the fans, as we love both players here, especially Crosby. While he is called a 'cry baby' and booed elsewhere in the NHL, he is applauded in Montreal.
Crosby delivered with two goals, an assist, and a shootout goal. During the starting lineup announcement, when Michel Lacroix mentioned Crosby's name, the crowd became very loud.
It's quite special for an opposing forward to receive such a welcome when he has never played for this team. It made noise all the way to Pittsburgh, where journalists did not miss the opportunity to highlight the nice gesture of the Canadiens' fans.
We can say many things about our fans, but we can never be accused of not being true hockey enthusiasts.
