At only 21 years old, the Canadiens' defenseman faced the top lines night after night and consistently looked impressive. Guhle is solid defensively and an excellent skater with a great first pass. He also made an interesting offensive contribution for a young defenseman, accumulating 18 points in 44 games, which is equivalent to approximately 34 points over a full season.
Now fully recovered from his injury, the Canadiens' defenseman is eager to hit the ice for the 2023-2024 season. During his appearance on "The Raw Knuckles Podcast" with Chris Nilan, Kaiden Guhle made a fascinating statement regarding the team's aspirations for the upcoming season.
Wow! Hearing the defenseman talk, it seems like the players on the Canadiens truly believe in their chances of qualifying for the playoffs. It's great to see a 21-year-old defenseman make such a declaration and demonstrate his confidence in the team assembled by the organization's management.
Although Guhle feels like a seasoned veteran due to his incredible performances on the ice, he has yet to play 50 games in the NHL. We are eagerly looking forward to tracking his progress over the next few years, as he could potentially become the number one defenseman that the team has been searching for.
One thing is certain, the 2023-2024 season is shaping up to be very exciting for the fans!
