Last-minute decision by the Canadiens regarding Cayden Primeau
While Cayden Primeau was supposed to get the start against the Wild on Friday night, following the logic of the goaltending rotation, it was actually Samuel Montembeault who was in goal.
With two games in two nights, this time in Chicago, it's a great opportunity to get the young goaltender in action, and that's exactly what has been announced.
Indeed, Primeau will have the challenging task of facing off against Connor Bedard. The rest of the lineup remains unchanged.
"Michael Pezzetta is practicing again with the reserves this morning. He is expected to be scratched again.
The same goes for Jordan Harris and Gustav Lindstrom.
We expect to see Cayden Primeau get the start against the Blackhawks." - Via Patrick Friolet, RDS So, it can be assumed that Gustav Lindstrom, Jordan Harris, and Michael Pezzetta will once again be scratched tonight.
