Last-minute emergency personnel movement by the Canadiens
While the Canadiens have played the last three games with 11 forwards and seven defensemen, the organization has decided that it's enough, and a recall was needed to bring in a forward reinforcement.
It has just been confirmed: Emil Heineman is joining the team for his second stint this year.
He will have the opportunity to showcase his skills and prove to the organization that he deserves to stay in the lineup. With the imminent return of Rafaël Harvey-Pinard, he absolutely needs to find a way to secure his spot.
Heineman has the ability to score goals, and having him on the team would be an asset. If he can develop as I believe, he will play in the top 9 and on the power play someday.
