Last-minute signing in the Canadiens' organization: A forward signs a one-season contract, and it's Nolan Yaremko
Another signing has just occurred in the Montreal Canadiens' organization. Indeed, wearing his hat as the general manager of the Laval Rocket, Kent Hughes has proceeded with the signing of 25-year-old forward Nolan Yaremko for the upcoming season.
"The Laval Rocket announced on Thursday that the team has agreed to terms on a one-season contract (2023-2024 - AHL, two-way) with forward Nolan Yaremko." - Laval Rocket
This is an excellent addition for the Canadiens' AHL affiliate team, as Yaremko performed very well during his stint with the team at the end of last season, accumulating a total of five points in 12 games. Moreover, there is no doubt that Nolan Yaremko will be able to provide valuable support to the young prospects of the organization who will make the jump to the professional ranks next year.
The forward from Spirit River will be able to make a significant offensive contribution, as he impressively tallied 36 goals and 48 assists (84 points) in 48 games with the University of Mount Royal in the CWUAA over the last two seasons.
