Late-night player move by the Montreal Canadiens
Canadiens delivered a disappointing performance and fell 3-2 to the worst team in the NHL on Thursday night at the Bell Centre.
Many consider this performance shameful on the part of Martin St-Louis's men, and with good reason. The Sharks had lost 12 games in a row before coming to Montreal, and the Habs could have won if they had played with more determination.
Regardless, it's time to roll up sleeves and focus on Saturday's game. Martin St-Louis has already took his decision, and everything indicates that there will be no changes to the forward lines.
Indeed, the team sent Emil Heineman to Laval after the game, indicating that there are no extra forwards currently in the 23-player lineup.
This doesn't guarantee that a call-up won't be made on Saturday, but it suggests that the chances are good for the lineup to remain as it is.
