Major: Canadiens fans hold their breath as David Reinbacher just got injured during his game
Bad news for Montreal Canadiens fans, as we just learned that David Reinbacher was injured during his game today.
"Reinbacher got hurt in the first period... he left the ice slowly. He hasn't come back yet, which probably means they're keeping him out for the rest of the game. Kloten is getting smoked 4-0."
It's unfortunate for the Canadiens' fifth overall pick, as he had a promising start since returning to Switzerland. The 18-year-old defenseman was playing substantial minutes with his Kloten club, where he scored one goal in two games.
We're holding our breath that it's not a serious injury for the Austrian player, in an important development year.
More details to follow.
