The NHL report on the 2018 Team Canada junior scandal is about to drop, just days before the start of the league's training camps.

In connection with this imminent announcement, a significant clue about three of the five players targeted for suspensions has just surfaced. Interestingly, we've learned that three members of that team have all simultaneously decided to set their social media profiles to private.

Let's just say that for an athlete or a public figure, it's rare to see such a situation occur, unless they're involved in something major. Since these three players have a common link, namely the 2018 WJC, it's easy to connect the dots.

The three players in question are currently in the National League: goaltender Carter Hart (Philadelphia), as well as forwards Brett Howden (Vegas) and Dillon Dube (Calgary).

It's always possible that this is to avoid being bothered by the investigation's verdict. On the other hand, these are also three players who hadn't given clear answers regarding whether they were involved in this affair.

Everyone believes an announcement could come at any moment today, and we'll share the information as soon as we have it.
