During the end of season review of the Laval Rocket following their elimination last Friday, two important pieces of information were revealed.

It was announced during a press conference by Jean-François Houle, the head coach of the Habs AHL affiliate, that Danick Martel will likely not be returning next season, following an emotional discussion between the two men. This means that Danick Martel's time with the Habs organization would come to an end.

"JF Houle had an emotional conversation with Danick Martel today. He was his coach at the junior and professional levels. I don't think he will be back next season," reported Vincent Demuy.

Danick Martel, who is 28 years old, scored 12 points in 26 games this season (33 in 70 games last season).

Furthermore, Corey Schueneman also hinted during a press conference that he will likely not be returning next season, which suggests that other major changes could be coming within the team.

Corey Schueneman, who is 27 years old, collected seven points in 31 games with the Montreal Canadiens this season, with a +1 differential.
