Major turnaround, and Kirby Dach back this season?
As of December 19th, the Canadiens are just one point behind a playoff spot, and the team is playing its best hockey of the season.
I never thought I would say this, but we have the right to believe, even though logic suggests they may not make the playoffs.
If the team continues to impress and accumulate wins, we might be surprised, and reinforcements of very high quality could even come in and change the game.
Initially, Lane Hutson is expected to play some games at the end of the season. We are eager to see him, as many consider him the team's top prospect. That's also my opinion.
The biggest surprise would be the return of Kirby Dach. As mentioned by Grant McCagg, a former Canadiens scout, the number 77 could theoretically come back to play in the playoffs if the Habs were to qualify.
It would be quite a twist and a very significant return for the playoffs.
