Statement from the Montreal Canadiens regarding Josh Anderson, and it is officially the end of his slump
On Saturday night, Canadiens fans showed the entire hockey world just how special it is to play in Montreal. Josh Anderson is experiencing the worst start to a season in his career, but despite his slump, fans have largely stood by him.
Why? Because he always gives his 100%, and we know how to appreciate that aspect of the game without relying solely on statistics. Nevertheless, things needed to turn around because it was becoming ridiculous at a certain point.
The outpouring of love that fans showed him at the Bell Centre on Saturday night was simply perfect. In fact, the organization put together a video montage to highlight the moment.
It can be said that his slump is officially over, and he can now look ahead. He even scored a goal and recorded an assist in Monday night's game in Winnipeg.
