Martin St-Louis confirms the rumor that has been circulating for the past few hours
We mentioned it this morning, Stéphane Waite predicted that Samuel Montembeault would be in the Canadiens' net for Thursday night's game.
However, we were eagerly awaiting confirmation from the coach, and it has just been provided by Luc Gélinas.
"Samuel Montembeault will be the starting goalie tonight against the Jackets."
- Luc Gélinas, RDS
Cayden Primeau is out of the lineup, and Jake Allen will be Monty's backup. This is Montembeault's first start since last week when he lost to the Wild.
