The Canadiens went all out with this statement about Carey Price and Paul Byron
Since the start of the season, Paul Byron has officially retired, and as for Carey Price, it can be considered unofficial. The goaltender will complete the remaining years on his contract before making the news official.
During the team's home opener at the Bell Centre on October 14, both men were introduced to the crowd during the second period. While Carey was in a suite, Paul chose to be among the fans in the stands.
Both received warm applause, even ovations. It was a wonderful moment they greatly appreciated.
In the past few hours, the Canadiens have released a video of this special moment. Once again, it's very well done and it demonstrates the class of the organization!
