Monster trade bringing Trevor Zegras to the Montreal Canadiens: It is now confirmed that the forward is on the market, and Kent Hughes has what it takes to go after him
The name Trevor Zegras has been linked to the Canadiens since this summer, and even the league's top insiders believe it's a possibility. The Ducks have a lot of talented young forwards, and Zegras doesn't seem to be in the organization's good graces anymore.
Kent Hughes has a lot of prospects and quality picks. The only thing missing from the team is some offensive firepower, which Zegras can certainly provide.
It is now confirmed that the star forward is on the market, as Pat Verbeek has made him available to the other 31 NHL teams.
"According to reports, the Anaheim Ducks have made it known that Trevor Zegras is available.
Where would you like to see him go?
Let's hear those offers!"

With the prices that the Flames got for Elias Lindholm and the Canadiens for Sean Monahan, the Ducks' GM would be crazy not to take a chance, especially as the team's top 6 is becoming clearer without Zegras.
On the other hand, the Canadiens have a lot to offer without sacrificing the good prospects they already have. Kent Hughes might even be willing to offer two first-round picks for the Ducks' number 11.
