Montreal Canadiens prospect Lane Hutson has a promising future in defense. He has the potential to become one of the best defensemen in the world, but some still have doubts due to his small stature.
It's already challenging for small forwards to make it, and it's even more difficult for defensemen. If we focus on his performance in the NCAA, he has nothing to envy from anyone, as he surpasses the statistics of several big names like Cale Makar and Adam Fox.
Unfortunately, Lane suffered an injury last week and had to miss a game. He returned on Friday night with a strong determination, making impressive plays and contributing with a goal and two assists.
